DURBAN AFRICA SPORTS CLUB MILESTONE – MOU AND PARTNERSHIP WITH BEREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Durban Africa Sports Club (DASC)  is proud to announce their partnership with Berea Technical College. The gala event and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding  (MOU) took place on Wednesday 22nd February 2017, Berea technical College boardroom in Durban.
 
The purpose of the partnership is to integrate the sports coaching and development  with the educational aspect focusing on career-pathing.
 
Whilst DASC will concentrate on nurturing the talent and skills of the youth at the tender age, Berea Technical College will foster their assistance by empowering these sportsmen/women with bursary assistance to further their tertiary education, namely mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.
 
Anand Thaver, president of DASC hailed this partnership as a  milestone achievement for the Club and also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to executive management of Berea Technical for their support and  acknowledging the excellent work done by DASC  with the underprivileged and disadvantaged youth in Chatsworth and surrounding communities.
 
The event was also well attended by representatives from the various media houses who was overwhelmed with this initiative and the partnership between the two organisations.
