Durban African Sports Club (DASC) has enjoyed a remarkable 2026 season, adding more silverware to the club’s trophy cabinet. Both Senior teams won their respective league competitions, while the Icons completed an impressive league and Knockout Cup double undefeated.

The club’s junior section also excelled, with the Under-13 team winning both the League and KO Cup. The successes reflect the commitment of a talented group of players, combining experience and youth, supported by dedicated coaches, officials, sponsors and the wider DASC family.

The achievements continued off the field, with DASC being named Best Recreational Club at the KZN Awards, following recognition from eThekwini and becoming a finalist in the South African Awards. President Maggie Govender said the club remains focused on good governance, clean audits and, most importantly, serving and giving back to the community and local schools.

DASC extends its sincere thanks to all its sponsors and supporters who made the 2026 season possible. With the club set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in April 2027, there is already plenty to look forward to as DASC continues to build on its proud Chatsworth roots and growing sporting legacy.
